Welcome to the senior page for the Class of 2012.  Please check here weekly for updates.  (CTC seniors - this page is especially important for you.  Please check here to stay current with all requirements for your senior year).  Questions can be handled most efficiently through email to the senior class advisors.

Graduation Outfit Orders

In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, June 8,2012, all seniors MUST have a graduation outfit. All other items in the Herff-Jones graduation packet are OPTIONAL.

All graduation outfit questions must be directed to Jeff Crouse @ the Herff-Jones company.

After the January in-school order date (1/12 lunch & 1/13 7 -7:30 AM), all orders, payments and forms must be sent to the Herff-Jones company. Ephrata High School will not forward forms. Shipping and handling fee ($8.45) must be added to orders after 1/13/2012. PA sales tax must also be included.

Payment plans had to be arranged with Jeff Crouse PRIOR to the 1/12/12 due date.

Students may use gowns from graduates of 2010 & 2011. You will need the purple gown, gold stole, cap and tassel. Please inform your class advisor if you will be using a previously owned gown. (Remember to order a new tassel).

If you do NOT wish to participate/walk in the graduation ceremony, bring a signed (parents) note to your class advisor or the high school office staff.

Late charges will now be added (started February 1, 2012)

Graduation Speech Entries

  • Students who wish to submit a speech for consideration at graduation should pick up an information sheet in the office in March

    Senior Class Motto: From these four years, we build a lifetime.

  • 2-3 speakers are chosen form the entries by a faculty committee
  • Class Valedictorian has the option to present a speech
  • Class President also addresses the class

Ephrata Scholarships - Hibshman/Brossman (ENB)

Note: To apply for these scholarships, graduation projects must be completed by April 2,2012.

Interview dates cannot be changed. Plan accordingly.

Prom/Post Prom Tickets

  • Tickets cannot be purchased if you have any obligations, including time owed.
  • Grad Projects must be completed
  • All Prom activities are regulated by the Junior Class & its Advisors

Graduation Projects

recommended completion by January 27, 2012

All Projects must be completed by March 30, 2012 in order to apply for the Ephrata Scholarships!

Must be completed by May 11, 2012 in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Senior PSSA Remediation seniors

All coursework and tests must be completed by Monday, May 21, 2012 in order to participate in the graduation commencement ceremony. Reminder - there will be no refunds on graduation outfits.

Commencement Practice - Mandatory**
  - Practice is held from 8 AM until noon (report to the cafeteria by 8 AM for attendance!)  - Senior breakfast (free) begins @ 8 AM (attendance taken) Door prizes!

Seniors receive graduation outfits and indoor tickets (4)*.

**Seniors who do not attend this practice will NOT be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. Contact the high school office if an emergency occurs and you cannot attend.

  • Cap/Gown money is not refundable.
  • * If inclement weather forces the ceremony indoors, only ticket holders are permitted in the gym; however, live video viewing areas are open to all and are located in the cafeteria and auditorium. Four tickets per senior.
  • Graduation Outfits cannot be ordered after April 19, 2012..
  • Senior obligations - all obligations must be cleared in order to graduate
  • All handicapped seating needs given to Mr. Long during or prior to practice
