Today is Thursday, March 18, and it is a B day!

To all Seniors who haven't finished the Graduation Project, this is a reminder from Mrs. Eby…….Graduation Projects must be completed by:
1.       April 1st to interview for the Ephrata National Bank scholarships (Applications are due March 25)
2.       April 6 to purchase a Prom Ticket
3.       May 14 to participate in the Graduation Ceremony
Get it done…..Now! Pronto!

Attention members of the marching unit -  The winter guard needs some help with their equipment and floor before and after their performance.  We are looking for some students who would like to help us out.  Our next competition is March 27th at Pennridge High School.  If interested please see Mr. Harker for more information.
And speaking of colorguard, There is practice tonight beginning at 7 PM and ending at 9 PM.
Practice Friday night will begin at 6:30 and end at 8:30-  Practice on Saturday will be from 3:30 until 8:30

Hear ye, hear ye!   Seniors! March 12 was not an excused "Senior Skip Day" as no such days occur in the calendar. Unexcused absences for that day will land on the obligation list for time owed. Time owed will prevent you from buying a Prom Ticket. There is very little time between NOW and the PURCHASE of Prom Tickets (April 7) to make up this time owed.  He who has ears, let him hear!

Congratulations to Senior Mel Andrew for being chosen to receive the first Lancaster Chapter of PIAA Basketball Officials Scholar Athlete Award. Mel will receive a $1,000 scholarship which she won by competing with girls from the L-L League by submitting a 300 word essay based on her experience her Senior year playing Basketball. Mel will be presented with her scholarship at the Basketball officials banquet April 12th.

Boys soccer will have open gym workouts starting next week on Monday and Wednesday night in the MS gym from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  Any student who is interested in play soccer next fall is welcome to attend.

Here is an update from Bucknell University.  Both EHS swimmers Kylee Parsons and Nate Brown won medals yesterday at the state swim meet.  Kylee placed 9th place in the 200 free and Nate placed 16th in the 50 free.  This is quite a feat, as high school swimming in Pennsylvania is very competitive.  Kylee will swim again today in the 500 free.  We'll bring you her results tomorrow.

Attention members of the Mountaineer staff:
If you signed up to write an article for the March Mount page, it needs to be in the Mount drive no later than Monday, March 22.    IF you cannot submit it, please give it to Emily Olson.
