Technology Education is a program that offers students the opportunity to investigate first-hand how modern technology affects their lives. Classes allow students to gain hands-on experiences in current technologies and industries such as computer-aided (CAD), digital video and photography, manufacturing and construction, and engineering. Whether students wish to continue their education at a college or technical school or enter the work force immediately after high school graduation, technology education courses can help provide much needed assistance in career planning. These courses also serve as a strong foundation for students who may wish to attend the Career& Technology Center.
The major content areas are: Communication Technology, Computer-aided Drafting, Construction/Manufacturing, and Transportation and Engineering.
