On Saturday, April 16th, the Cloister FFA held its 50th annual chapter banquet in conjunction with a reunion for chapter alumni. During the social hour, individuals were able to tour the Ag classroom and shop. Also, slideshows, photos and scrapbooks were provided to remember past times. The 50th Annual Anniversary Banquet was a success. It ran smoothly with no complications. About 250 people attended the social hour and banquet.
During the banquet, Mr. Ayers, first Cloister advisor, gave a brief remembrance of the time he was the Ag teacher. Senator Mike Brubaker and Representative Gordon Denlinger attended as special guests and awarded our chapter with Honorary Citations from the House of Representatives and Senate. It was a great way to sum up the past 50 years.
