Smith and girls' golf team win league titles

Senior Lauren Smith captured the Girls' Lancaster-Lebanon League Golf Championship at Overlook on Tuesday with a score of 81. The course is a par 70.

The Ephrata girls' team also won the team title with a combined score of 395. With the win, the team qualified for the District 3 team competition at Briarwood Golf Club in York, October 8-9. The team (and their LL League Championship scores) includes Lauren Smith (81), Lacey Bensing (83), Megan Esterbrook (94), Paige Hammaker (137), and Caitlin Lynch (138).
