On Monday, March 21, students in Mr. Hershey's art classes were treated to demonstrations by local potter, Phil Kreider. Kreider grew up in Lancaster on a farm and now lives in the city of Lancaster and works on his ceramic pieces of art. He has exhibits at Kevin Lehman Pottery and at Village Pottery in Intercourse.

Besides doing demonstrations on the wheel, Kreider also had numerous finished pieces and was able to take time to discuss them and answer student questions.
