Welcome!

This site is intended for students and parents of the Ephrata Area School District's grade 3-5 string program. It is meant to provide information of a supportive nature (not direct instruction), and as such is somewhat incomplete by itself. Both parents and students should feel free to contact me for further information or clarification as needed.

Due to technical issues this site will not be fully updated until sometime in May, 2012. Most information is current though, and dated information is expected to be very similar to what is here.

Current Events

Concert season is here, and congratulations to the 3rd and 4th graders for their excellent concert on April 26! They did an excellent job, and made exciting music. Thank you elementary string players!

The 5th grade strings will perform Tuesday, May 15.

Site of the Month

Finale Notepad

... is a music notation software program (enables you to copy, adapt or compose your own music and print it out).  The main version is $10, but you can try the free trial version first to check it out. It's a great tool for those who want to do more exploring!
