Sharing the value of U.S. citizenship

Becoming a US citizen is a dream come true for Mrs. Jennifer Martin. Mrs. Martin recently shared her experience with the 4th grade students in her daughter’s classroom at Clay Elementary. Originally from Belize, she talked about her journey and the differences between her home country and the United States. The students enjoyed looking at her passports and listening to her describe the process of becoming a citizen. During the citizenship test, the applicant is asked up to 10 of the 100 questions.
