Judging from the interests of the first graders at Highland, there will be no shortage of oceanographers, geologists, equine enthusiasts, race car drivers and wrestlers when they grow up. This all became evident on Friday, January 20th, as the students shared their hobbies with friends, family and other guests.
The special event took place because January is National Hobby Month. To celebrate this special time of year, the first grade students were asked to bring in a hobby to school. The students spent time talking and writing about their hobbies.
