"Rippin' Ropers" help students gear-up for Jump Rope for Heart
The "Rippin' Ropers", a jump rope exhibition team from John Beck Elementary School, recently toured Ephrata's elementary schools to help them prepare for the upcoming Jump Rope for Heart campaign. During this event students will raise money for the American Heart Association.

All through the month of January in their physical education classes, the elementary students have learned all sorts of jump rope skills such as short rope, long rope, partner jumping and 3+4 learn double dutch. Their teachers also discuss with them how to keep a healthy heart.

Finally, during their gym classes in the week of February 6th, by jumping as much as they can they will be collecting money for American Heart Association - and of course building a healthy heart at the same time.

Below is some footage of the "Rippin Ropers" at Akron and Highland elementary schools.
